The Dexcom ONE System Kit contains the essential components required to start using the original Dexcom ONE Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system. Kit contains:

  • 1 × Dexcom ONE Sensor
  • 1 × Dexcom ONE Transmitter
  • Sensor applicator
  • Receiver not included
  • Compatible smartphone not included

Dexcom's UK ordering information confirms that the Dexcom ONE System Kit, product STP-DO-103, contains one sensor and one transmitter.

Key features:

  • Reusable transmitter lasts approximately 90 days
  • Transmitter is transferred between successive Dexcom ONE sensors

Sensor placement:

  • Adults aged 18 years+: abdomen or back of upper arm
  • Children aged 2–17 years: abdomen, back of upper arm or upper buttocks

Use only an approved application site appropriate for the user's age.

How to use:

Clean and thoroughly dry the selected application site.

Use the supplied applicator to insert the Dexcom ONE Sensor according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Attach the Dexcom ONE Transmitter securely to the sensor.

Pair the transmitter with the Dexcom ONE app on a compatible smartphone or with the optional Dexcom ONE Receiver.

Start the sensor session. Following the 2-hour warm-up period, glucose readings will begin and will be transmitted automatically every 5 minutes.

After 10 days, replace the sensor. Carefully remove the transmitter from the used sensor and reuse it with a new Dexcom ONE Sensor until the transmitter reaches the end of its approximately 90-day life.

Important information:

This kit is for the original Dexcom ONE system. It is different from Dexcom ONE+, which has the transmitter built into each sensor.

Unlike Dexcom ONE+, the original Dexcom ONE has a 2-hour warm-up period and no 12-hour grace period. The sensor session ends after 10 days.

A compatible smartphone running the Dexcom ONE app or an optional Dexcom ONE Receiver is required to display glucose readings.

Check smartphone and operating-system compatibility before use.

If glucose readings or alerts do not match your symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.

When correctly installed, the sensor and transmitter are water resistant to a depth of up to 2.4 metres for up to 24 hours. The Dexcom ONE Receiver is not water resistant.
