Hollister Adapt™ Medical Adhesive Remover Spray is a silicone-based, alcohol-free adhesive remover designed to help gently release ostomy skin barriers, adhesive tapes and adhesive residue from the skin.

The no-sting formulation helps reduce the pulling and mechanical trauma associated with removing strongly adhering stoma appliances. The spray evaporates quickly and dries without leaving significant residue, allowing a new pouching system to be applied once the skin is dry.

Its 360° spray technology allows controlled application from virtually any angle, making it easier to direct the remover underneath the edge of an ostomy barrier during appliance changes.

Directions:

Gently lift one edge of the ostomy skin barrier or adhesive tape.

Hold the spray so that the nozzle is directed towards the base of the adhesive barrier.

Spray the remover between the skin and adhesive until the barrier begins to release.

Continue gently peeling the barrier away while applying additional spray as required.

Avoid forcibly pulling the appliance from the skin.

After removal, use the spray as required to help remove any remaining adhesive residue.

Allow the skin to dry completely before applying the next ostomy pouching system.
