Hollister Adapt™ Stoma Powder 28g (Code: 7906) – 1 Bottle
Hollister Adapt™ Stoma Powder is a moisture-absorbing ostomy powder designed for use on moist, irritated or broken skin around the stoma.
Excess moisture on damaged peristomal skin can make it difficult for a stoma barrier or baseplate to adhere securely. Adapt™ Stoma Powder absorbs moisture from the affected area, helping create a drier surface for improved barrier adhesion while supporting protection of the surrounding skin.

Adapt™ Stoma Powder is intended primarily for moist or compromised skin. Routine application to normal, healthy and completely dry peristomal skin is generally unnecessary.
Directions:
Clean the skin around the stoma according to the usual stoma-care routine.
Gently dry the surrounding skin as thoroughly as possible.
Apply a small amount of Adapt™ Stoma Powder to the moist or affected area.
Allow the powder to absorb the excess moisture.
Gently remove or brush away loose excess powder before applying the stoma barrier or pouch.
Only a thin residual layer should remain over the area requiring protection.
Apply the ostomy barrier or pouch according to the appliance manufacturer's instructions.
Reassess the skin at each appliance change and continue using the powder only while excess moisture or skin damage requires it.
Important information:
-
