Directions

Hollister Advance should be used for intermittent catheterisation following appropriate instruction from a healthcare professional.

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry your hands.

  2. Open the catheter packaging as instructed.

  3. Activate and distribute the lubricating gel according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  4. Use the protective sleeve to handle the catheter without touching the catheter itself.

  5. Insert the catheter gently into the urethra until urine begins to flow.

  6. Allow the bladder to drain completely.

  7. Slowly withdraw the catheter.

  8. Dispose of the catheter appropriately after use.

Use a new catheter for every catheterisation.
