Otinova Ear Spray – 15ml

Otinova Ear Spray is a medical device for the treatment of inflammation of the ear canal (otitis externa), including swimmer’s ear.

It contains Burow’s solution, a combination of aluminium acetate, aluminium acetotartrate, acetic acid and water. Otinova works locally in the ear canal, providing an astringent and drying action, helping to relieve itching while also having antibacterial and antifungal effects.

Directions

Before first use, pump the spray several times until an even, fine spray is produced.

Spray 1–2 times into the affected ear canal, morning and evening.

After spraying, tilt your head for 1–2 minutes to allow the solution to flow down into the ear canal, then wipe away any excess fluid.

Do not use continuously for more than 7 days.

If symptoms have not significantly improved after 1–3 days, consult a doctor.

Important information

• Do not use if you have, or suspect you have, a perforated eardrum

• Do not use if you have grommets or a drainage tube fitted in the eardrum

• Children under 5 years should only use Otinova following medical advice and examination of the eardrum

• Seek medical advice if there is marked pain or tenderness around the ear or impaired hearing

• Avoid getting water, soap or shampoo into an inflamed ear

• Avoid contact with the eyes

• Do not inhale the spray

• A temporary mild stinging or irritation may occur

• If irritation persists or becomes worse, seek medical advice

• Do not use continuously for longer than 7 days

• Keep out of reach of children

• Store at room temperature

• Use within 6 months of opening
