SMA Alfamino is a hypoallergenic amino acid-based formula for the dietary management of severe cow's milk allergy, multiple food protein allergies and other conditions where an amino acid formula is recommended. It may also be used for infants who have not improved on an extensively hydrolysed formula. It must be used under strict medical supervision.

How to prepare:
Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilise all feeding equipment according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Prepare the formula using cooled, freshly boiled water and only the scoop supplied in the tin.
Use 1 level scoop (approximately 4.4g) for every 30ml of water.
Add the correct number of level scoops to the measured water and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. Always follow the preparation and feeding instructions on the tin and the feeding quantities recommended by your baby's healthcare professional.
Important information:
Breastfeeding is best for babies. SMA Alfamino is a Food for Special Medical Purposes and must only be used under strict medical supervision after consideration of all feeding options, including breastfeeding.
For oral or enteral use only.
Do not add extra powder or water to make feeds stronger or weaker. Prepare each feed when required and feed immediately. Discard any unfinished formula remaining after a feed.
