SMA Gold Prem 2 is a nutritionally complete post-discharge formula specially designed for the dietary management of preterm, low-birthweight babies who are not solely breastfed. It is intended for use after discharge from hospital or when a low-birthweight formula is no longer appropriate.

Ingredients:

Lactose (MILK), Vegetable Oils including Structured Vegetable Oil (Sunflower, Palm, Coconut, Rapeseed), Maltodextrin, Whey Isolate (MILK), Whey Protein (MILK), Medium Chain Triglycerides, Calcium Phosphate, 2′-Fucosyllactose (2′FL) (MILK), Mortierella Alpina Oil (Arachidonic Acid), Calcium Chloride, Oil from the Microalgae Schizochytrium sp. (Docosahexaenoic Acid), Lacto-N-Neotetraose (LNnT) (MILK), Choline Bitartrate, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, Sodium Citrate, Vitamin C, Inositol, L-Arginine, Taurine, Ferrous Sulphate, L-Carnitine, Zinc Sulphate, Vitamin E, Antioxidant (Tocopherol-Rich Extract), Pantothenic Acid, Niacin, Copper Sulphate, Riboflavin, Thiamin, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Manganese Sulphate, Potassium Iodide, Folic Acid, Sodium Selenate, Vitamin K, Biotin, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12.

How to prepare:
Wash hands thoroughly and wash and sterilise all feeding equipment according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Boil 1 litre of fresh tap water and allow it to cool for no more than 30 minutes so that it remains at approximately 70°C.

Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle. Using only the scoop provided, add the correct number of level scoops.

Use 1 level scoop for every 30ml of water.

Fit the sterilised teat and cap and shake well until the powder has completely dissolved. Cool the bottle under cold running water or in a container of cold water until lukewarm. Test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.

Prepare each feed as required and feed immediately.

Important information:
Breast milk is best for babies and breastfeeding should continue for as long as possible.

SMA Gold Prem 2 is a Food for Special Medical Purposes and must only be used under medical supervision. Your baby's healthcare professional should advise when to start and when to change to another formula.

SMA Gold Prem 2 is intended for preterm, low-birthweight babies following discharge from hospital. It is not intended for newborn preterm babies, for whom fortified breast milk or an appropriate low-birthweight formula may be more suitable.

Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Incorrect preparation, storage or handling may make a baby ill.

Do not add extra powder or water and do not add other foods to the bottle unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Use within 4 weeks of opening and store according to the instructions on the pack.
