Teleflex Rüsch Brillant AquaFlate is an all-silicone 2-way Foley catheter designed for long-term indwelling bladder drainage.

The transparent silicone catheter has a cylindrical solid tip, two opposing drainage eyes and a 10ml retention balloon. It also features a radiopaque catheter tip and contrast stripe along the shaft, allowing the catheter to be visible on X-ray.

The female-length catheter is supplied with a sterile pre-filled syringe containing 10ml sterile water for balloon inflation.

Directions

This catheter should be selected, inserted and changed by an appropriately trained healthcare professional, or used in accordance with an established individual catheter-care plan.

Use an appropriate aseptic catheterisation technique during insertion.

The retention balloon should only be inflated after correct catheter placement has been confirmed.

Use the supplied 10ml sterile water to inflate the retention balloon.
