Uro-Tainer M NaCl is primarily a mechanical rinsing and carrier solution. It does not contain citric acid and is not specifically intended to dissolve catheter encrustation in the way that Suby G or Solution R catheter-maintenance solutions are.

Directions:

Use only according to an established catheter-maintenance or bladder-instillation protocol and the instructions of an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Wash and dry hands thoroughly and maintain appropriate aseptic technique.

Remove the Uro-Tainer M bag from its protective packaging and inspect it before use.

Connect the Uro-Tainer system to the urinary catheter according to the manufacturer's instructions.

For routine irrigation, allow the saline solution to rinse the catheter according to the prescribed procedure.

When the injection port is being used for medication or another prescribed substance, this must only be carried out in accordance with the prescription, medicine instructions and appropriate clinical protocol.

Do not force fluid against significant resistance.

After irrigation or instillation, disconnect the Uro-Tainer and reconnect the appropriate drainage bag or catheter valve according to the individual care plan.

Dispose of the complete system after use.
