Coloplast Brava Belt Standard is an adjustable ostomy belt designed to provide additional security for compatible SenSura and Assura stoma baseplates with belt ears.

The belt helps keep the baseplate securely positioned against the body and can be particularly useful where the abdomen is rounded or uneven, or where additional appliance support is preferred. It is made from soft, comfortable elastic material and can be adjusted to suit the individual user.

Directions:

Apply the compatible stoma baseplate or pouching system according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Attach each end of the Brava Belt to the belt ears on the baseplate.

Position the belt around the body so that it lies comfortably and does not twist.

Adjust the belt to provide gentle additional support to the appliance.

The belt should be secure but must not be overtightened or cause excessive pressure around the stoma.

Check that the pouch continues to drain normally and that the belt does not interfere with the appliance.

Remove and wash the belt as required according to the manufacturer's care instructions.

Important information:

• Use only with compatible appliances featuring the appropriate belt ears

• Code 0421 is not designed for SenSura Mio appliances

• SenSura Mio appliances requiring a belt use the separate Brava Belt for SenSura Mio range

• Do not overtighten the belt

• Excessive tension may cause discomfort or unwanted pressure around the stoma and surrounding skin

• Check the skin regularly for redness, pressure marks, soreness or irritation

• Ensure the belt does not interfere with pouch drainage

• Inspect the belt regularly and replace it if it becomes damaged, excessively stretched or no longer provides effective support

• This product is an ostomy appliance fixation belt and should not be confused with a parastomal hernia support belt or abdominal support garment

• Persistent leakage, discomfort or difficulty obtaining a secure appliance fit should be discussed with a Stoma Care Nurse
