ConvaTec Diamonds Gelling and Odour Control Sachets are super-absorbent ostomy sachets designed to turn liquid or loose stoma output into a more manageable gel while helping control odour and excess gas.

Each dissolvable sachet is placed directly into an empty ostomy pouch. As liquid output enters the pouch, the sachet absorbs moisture and gels the contents, helping create a flatter and more discreet pouch. Diamonds also contain ActiveOne™ Odour Control technology with activated charcoal, helping reduce unwanted odour and excess gas.

They are particularly suitable for people with an ileostomy or colostomy producing loose or liquid stool.

Suitable for:

Directions:

Place one unopened Diamonds sachet directly into the opening of an empty ostomy pouch.

Do not tear, cut or open the sachet.

As liquid stoma output enters the pouch, the outer sachet material dissolves and the contents begin absorbing fluid and forming a gel.

Use according to the manufacturer's instructions and individual requirements.

Replace with a new sachet when the pouch is changed or emptied as appropriate.

For very high or persistently liquid output, seek advice from a Stoma Care Nurse regarding appropriate use and management.

Important information:

• Do not open the sachets

• Place the complete sachet directly into the ostomy pouch

• Persistent unusually watery or increased stoma output may require clinical assessment

• Seek medical advice if liquid output is accompanied by symptoms of dehydration, reduced urine output, dizziness, abdominal pain or illness

• Recurrent pouch leakage should be discussed with a Stoma Care Nurse, as the appliance fit may require reassessment
