Hollister Adapt Ostomy Belt is an adjustable elastic ostomy belt designed for use with compatible stoma pouches that have belt tabs. It provides additional support to the pouching system, helping enhance security and keep the appliance comfortably positioned during everyday activities.

The belt is washable, reusable and adjustable from approximately 58cm to 109cm (23–43"), allowing the tension to be adapted to the individual user.

Directions:

Apply the stoma pouch or baseplate according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Ensure the belt tabs are facing outward from the body.

Attach each end of the Adapt Ostomy Belt securely to the corresponding belt tab on the pouching system.

Position the belt in line with the stoma and adjust the length until it feels comfortably secure.

The belt should be snug enough to support the pouching system but should not be excessively tight.

As a practical fitting guide, you should be able to comfortably slide two fingers between the belt and the skin.

Check that the belt lies flat and does not twist or interfere with normal pouch function.

Important information:

• Only use with ostomy appliances featuring compatible belt attachment tabs

• Do not overtighten the belt

• Excessive pressure may cause discomfort or pressure around the stoma and surrounding skin

• Check the skin regularly for redness, pressure marks, soreness or irritation

• Ensure the belt does not interfere with drainage into the pouch

• The belt is washable and reusable

• Hand wash in cold water with mild soap and hang to dry

• Inspect the elastic regularly and replace the belt if it becomes stretched, damaged or no longer provides adequate support

• This product is an ostomy appliance belt, not an abdominal or parastomal hernia support garment

• Persistent leakage, discomfort or difficulty maintaining a secure pouch fit should be discussed with a Stoma Care Nurse
