Directions:

Measure the circumference of the leg where the urine bag is normally positioned and select the appropriate AquaSleeve size.

Slide the AquaSleeve onto the leg and position it at the required height.

Position the urine drainage bag appropriately against the leg.

Fit the AquaSleeve around the leg bag so that the bag is securely supported within the sleeve.

Ensure that the drainage tubing is positioned correctly and is not kinked, twisted or under excessive tension.

Check that urine can flow freely into the bag.

Ensure the sleeve feels secure but is not excessively tight or uncomfortable.

Wash and reuse the AquaSleeve according to the manufacturer's care instructions.

• Select the correct size according to leg circumference

• The sleeve should securely support the leg bag without restricting circulation

• Do not use a sleeve that feels excessively tight

• Check the skin regularly for redness, pressure marks, swelling or irritation

• Ensure urinary drainage tubing remains free from kinks or obstruction

• Empty the urine bag regularly according to the bag manufacturer's instructions

• Wash the AquaSleeve regularly and allow it to dry appropriately before reuse

• Replace the sleeve if it becomes damaged, overstretched or no longer securely supports the drainage bag

• Persistent leakage, poor urine drainage, catheter problems or skin irritation should be discussed with a Continence Nurse or other appropriate healthcare professional
